Job Summary:

• Under the direction of the Chief Physicist, performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper delivery of radiation oncology treatments to oncology patients.

Reports To:

• Director/Radiation Therapy and the Chief Physicist

Supervises:

• None

Required Education:

• Associates degree

Preferred Education:

• Bachelors degree in related field

Required Experience:

• 1 year of directly related experience if they possess a Bachelors degree

Preferred Experience:

• 3 years of directly related experience if they possess an Associates degree

Required Certification/License/Registry:

• Must possess and maintain active certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)

Preferred Certification/License/Registry:

• ARRT Certification is preferred
