Camp Tall Turf is an ACA accredited Christian camp located in Walkerville, MI.

Free transportation is provided to and from Grand Rapids each session.

Consider spending your summer at Camp Tall Turf! Camp Tall Turf seeks to provide a culturally diverse and inclusive Christian camp experience for youth ages 8-13 and 14-17, as well as providing weekend camp experiences for families. Tall Turf’s goals are to pursue and advance God’s vision of wholeness, unity, justice, peace, and healing for today’s increasingly diverse and urban world by building relationships that make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of youth. We do this through activities such as archery, sports, canoeing, fishing, drama, dance, choir, and more! Camp runs from June 1 through August 12 with adequate breaks between each session and Independence Day weekend off duty.

Counselors will assume full responsibility for all the campers in assigned cabin 24 hours a day. This includes constant supervision of each camper. Identify and meet the needs of each assigned individual. One male and one female head counselor will be selected from applicants to provide leadership for counselor cohort.

This includes:

• Providing positive and enthusiastic oversight to activities
• Monitoring health and well-being of campers
• Supervision and discipline of all campers
• Teaching and role modeling positive Christian behavior
• Leading classes for youth in the afternoon each session

Qualifications Include:

1. Minimum age of 18 years.

2. High School Diploma.

3. Experience working with school-age children.

This is a seasonal position with the possibility of returning for subsequent summers. It is a salary position. Room and board is available.
