Talk to Tucker is Hiring a Commission Administrator Near Indianapolis, IN

The Big Picture and Why This Position Exists.

As Tucker’s Commission Administrator you will be responsible for the calculation and payment processing of Tucker Real Estate Agents’ commission payments. Utilizing your eye for detail and mind for calculations you will ensure that Agents’ receive their commission payments reliably and timely with as few errors as possible. Additionally, you will assist Agents’ in the understanding of the commission payment policy.

A normal day might entail:

  • Calculating and processing commission payments to agents via check and/or direct deposit.
  • Contributing ideas and feedback on areas of potential process improvement based on experience and feedback.
  • Frequently interacting with agents to provide clarity and detail on the commission payout policy in such a manner that promotes understanding.
  • Perform accounting entries impacting commission statements.
  • Balancing the cash folder to ensure accurate transaction activity on a daily basis.
  • Cross training to back up other positions within the department including payables, receivables, earnest money deposits, pending transactions, and reconciling bank accounts.

Experience that would be nice but not necessary:

  • Google G Suite/Workspace (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Drive)
  • Have some experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping capacity or an Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting.
  • Some experience in the residential real estate.

Scheduled hours: This is an in-office position and the standard scheduled is 8:30 am - 5:00 pm; Monday – Friday; 37.5 hours per week however, this position is eligible for a 9/75 compressed work schedule which allows for a 3 day weekend every two weeks.

Compensation: $20.51 per hour to $23.07 per hour
