The sports Coordinator is responsible for providing a welcoming and comprehensive experience at the sports complex. This exceptional person is the face of our program and expected to be enthusiastic, professional, engaging, encouraging, energetic, creative, collaborative, and continually looking for ways to improve themself, the program, the Sports Club operation, and the member experience on and off the court. This position requires a wide range of skills supported by an approach based in hospitality. The ability to communicate, learn, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced multi-functional role with an ever-changing environment is crucial for success.

Duties include, and are not limited to, the following:

• Coordinate, promote and supervise events as needed.
• Support maintenance staff in keeping the courts, equipment and the facility clean, safe, and tidy.
• Support the office with answering the phone, checking in members and guests, reservations, purchases etc.
• Assist in equipping members with suitable paddles, accessories, footwear, attire etc. through the Sports Club or other vendors as needed.
• Encourage participation and promote the growth of all the Sports Club offerings including pickleball, tennis, fitness, bocce, spa etc.
• Plan, promote and run leagues, tournaments, social and competitive activities/events for all levels.
• Keep safety the top priority.
• Relay all pertinent information and report to the Director of Tennis and Pickleball.
• Creates a great member/guest experience through excellent client service, interpersonal relationships, and communication.
• Welcomes and greets guests and members upon entry to the complex.
• Maintains sign in sheets and collects any guest fees due.
• Ensures waiver forms are completed by and collected from any guest to the facility.
• Maintains water, fruit, towels, and supplies.
• Checks and responds to Sports Complex related emails as appropriate.
• Responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
• Regular in-person attendance is required.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

• Preferred to be certified in CPR/First Aid.
• Must have a proven track-record as an extraordinary teacher and program/event coordinator.
• Preferred to have had experience working at clubs where professionalism, service and hospitality are held to the highest standard
