Job Overview:
Plant Manager: The Plant Manager will safely organize and oversee the daily operations to produce and deliver high quality product and service to the customer’s satisfaction. The Plant Manager ensures that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people. The ideal candidate must be competent in and able to plan a variety of operational activities. In addition, the Plant Manager must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the operations and empower people. The goal of this individual is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets
- Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process, including supply chain management, production planning, and quality control
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve operational goals
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage plant resources effectively to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of machinery
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in plant management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production planning, and process improvement methodologies
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
- Solid understanding of quality control principles and practices
- Proficient in using manufacturing software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
