This position focuses on influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization and cross other organizations depending on the topic. A Senior Strategic Planning leaderneeds to be exposed and recognized as an authority by top group management level and respected by peers across multiple organizations. The position requires leadinga team of strategic planners. This position requires a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The Senior Strategic Planning Manager leader drives strategic decision making at the top level of the group, owns developing and driving roadmaps of components, ingredients, platforms and initiatives by bringing to bear the experience, business acumen, networking, customer relationships and breadth and depth of expertise in the business area. As PSG aggressively moves ahead to provide higher value to our customers through innovation in its FPGA or eASIC, we are seeking a leader to lead, grow, and develop our team of Strategic Planners. This person will be responsible for driving and making portfolio decisions that have a global and long-lasting impacts on the business and posture of the organization. This role affords you an opportunity to lead a team that will make a disruptive and positive impact to PSG's near and long-term business goals. The team you will manage must take on challenging and often ambiguous problems, apply deep subject matter expertise and business judgment in defining products and effectively communicate complex issues to audiences that include Executives, Marketing, Engineering, Sales and Customers. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to influence partner organizations within Intel to explore and create Intel synergies. PSGs portfolio includes a comprehensive breadth of Hardware, Software, IP, and Platforms products which cover a wide range of traditional FPGA markets but also expands aggressively into emerging markets and technology transitions in Cloud/Data Center, Wireline/Wireless, Embedded segments, AI , AI and Intelligent Edge. Increasingly, assets from various Intel groups are being combined and leveraged to create a synergistic offering in emerging heterogeneous platforms. Defining products which leverages Intel assets and provides PSG products as an ingredient is a key objective for the group. Your team is responsible for synthesizing and analyzing requirements from various sources PSG stakeholder groups, Intel business divisions, customers, Sales/Field etc. and ensuring that all requirements and feature specifications are well defined. The team manages the planning portion of the Product Life Cycle and incubation processes to ensure we create product proposals with high value, quality and profitability. The role also includes influencing and driving decisions across the product portfolio, supporting the annual strategic plan and budget planning cycles and Zone-to-Win. The group is also responsible to communicate the portfolio roadmaps to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

BS in computer science or computer engineering or electrical engineering or related field with 15 years of experience.

5 years of experience in FPGA products and technologies and usages in various target markets and applications.

8 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Architecture, and/or Applications Engineering.

10 years of experience and track record in building, developing and leading a high-performance team.

5 years of experience in architecting FPGA-based solutions for an end market/application.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical knowledge of FPGA development flows and software solutions across the various applications and markets.

Proven experience to orchestrate a cross-disciplinary team in the definition, trade-off analysis, and convergence of next generation product portfolio which enable various end markets and applications.
Experience in developing platforms across multiple products and with the ecosystem; ability to drive a cross product platform vision, and requirements that enable platform level solutions that integrate FPGA and eASIC products with products across Intel.

Industry knowledge of dynamics, trends, success factors and competitive forces in markets/applications such as Data Center, AI,Automotive, Acceleration, NFVi VNF, 5G/VRAN, and Intelligent Edge are a plus.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$188,530.00-$329,690.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
