Taleo BE is Hiring a Senior Continuous Improvement Practitioner Near Hamilton, MT

As a Senior Continuous Improvement Practitioner , you will lead and drive operational excellence initiatives within the organization, focusing on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and achieving operational excellence. You will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to cross-functional teams, enabling them to identify and implement process improvements using various methodologies and tools. This senior-level position requires extensive experience and expertise in continuous improvement methodology to lead and transform the organization's operational performance. 

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead and oversee operational excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and goals.
  • Establish and implement a roadmap for operational excellence, identifying key improvement areas and prioritizing projects based on potential impact and return on investment.
  • Mentor and guide cross-functional teams and operational excellence practitioners, providing coaching and support in implementing process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to identify process improvement opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
  • Conduct detailed process assessments, utilizing data analysis and value stream mapping techniques to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and waste in current processes.
  • Design and implement process improvement initiatives, leading project teams and ensuring effective execution and delivery of results.
  • Establish performance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and measurement systems to track progress and the impact of operational excellence initiatives.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization, promoting awareness, engagement, and adoption of best practices.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops on operational excellence methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in operational excellence, and assess their potential application within the organization.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree in biological or chemical sciences, business, engineering or equivalent technical discipline OR 7 years industry experience in operations, technical or continuous improvement role in an automated manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • 5 years successfully driving continuous improvement and lean six sigma initiatives in an automated manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Significant experience (typically 7 years) in operational excellence or process improvement roles, with a proven track record of leading successful initiatives and delivering tangible results.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in operational excellence methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and recommend actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools, statistical analysis software, and data visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, Tableau, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement within an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating training sessions and workshops on operational excellence methodologies and tools.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align operational excellence initiatives with overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Professional certifications in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt, Master Black Belt)
