About the role

As Senior Complex Claims Director for Financial Institutions you will be responsible for handling all aspects of complex claims against financial institutions with opportunity to handle high exposure errors & omissions, directors & officers claims, fiduciary and EPL claims, and you will have the unique opportunity to work with some of the industry's top talent in Financial Lines Claims.

What you need to know:

  • Making coverage determinations, investigating losses, evaluating and projecting potential exposures
  • Making case presentations, setting judgmental reserves, developing and implementing resolution strategies
  • Working with defense counsel, collaborating with underwriting and delivering differentiated value and service to our customers and distribution partners

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience handling complex insurance claims, litigation or other related experience.
  • Employment practices or financial lines professional liability claims experience preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of the litigation and arbitration process
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required. JD highly preferred.
  • Multi-state adjuster licenses preferred.

For positions based in New York City, the base salary range is $115,000-$170,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
