Associate Director of Alumni Alliance Programs & Engagement - Office of Advancement - Georgetown University
The Associate Director of Alumni Alliance Programs & Engagement is a key member of the Alumni Relations team responsible for managing engagement and volunteer efforts with our industry-based alliance groups. Given an already strong regional and class structure, alliance engagement provides an opportunity to enhance and amplify an additional avenue with which alumni can engage with Georgetown. The Georgetown University Alumni Association (GUAA) has seen the value of alumni alliances and affinity groups and is committed to the engagement of the current alliance groups: Wall Street Alliance, Georgetown Entrepreneurship Alliance, Georgetown Entertainment and Media Alliance, Georgetown Tech Alliance, and Georgetown Angel Investor Network.
They work closely with volunteer leadership, the GUAA, and the University to manage program execution and implementation for a portfolio of alumni alliance groups, including volunteer management, event execution, fundraising, communications, and budget management.
And as part of a growing team focused on developing a sustainable affinity and alliance group structure, the Associate Director partners and manages existing and new volunteers to help shape this additional engagement area for the University and Alumni Association.
