PrimaryResponsibilities Include:
·Develop and implement treatment programs tomeet the individual needs of each child
·Develop individualized goals for patients toincrease daily living skills
·Educate and demonstrate therapy techniques toparents/caregivers
·Assess patients and make recommendations,provide referrals as needed
·Fabricate adaptive equipment, sensory tools asindicated
·Coordinate purchase of equipment for patient’sin-home treatment
·Provide timely documentation of notes,reports, and insurance justifications
·Maintain communication with patient’s PCP
·Provide clinical supervision to occupational therapystudents and assistants
·Assist in developing strategic and long-rangeplans for STEP Pediatrics
SuccessfulCandidates Must Have:
·Master’s level degree in Occupational Therapy
·Current NBCOT
·Current state licensure through DORA
·1 year of experience as a pediatric occupationaltherapist
·1-3 years’ experience treating children in anysetting
·Experience with EMR preferred
·Colorado Medicaid credentialed preferred
·CAQH credentialed preferred
·Knowledge of insurance billing and codingpreferred
