Holiday InnExpress & Suites Corona is seeking a MaintenanceTechnician to join our team at an established hotel property where ourstandards are high, and we reward hard work and dedication. Our Maintenance teamis responsible for setting the standard of excellence by ensuring the propertyand grounds are clean and inviting, in addition to guaranteeing the comfort andfunctionality of the hotel. Our ideal candidate will have experience withrelevant tools and equipment, and some exposure to industries including HVAC,construction, electrical work and repairs, plumbing, or general propertymanagement and upkeep. Job Responsibilities:

• Complete minor repairs such asreplacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting,repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen, and laundry equipment, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenanceduties as detailed in the hotel preventative maintenance calendar
• Ensure that assigned equipment isprepared and operational for the following day’s work
• Monitor efficiency of equipmentand electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guest entrance/accessdoors, television sets, and lighting systems
• Make minor repairs and/orreplacements to ensure things are working properly and efficiently at all times
• Refurbish furniture and fixtureswithin guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, andcounters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, if needed
• Maintain front entrance area,parking area and/or garage, and ensure street entrance is a clean andpresentable
• Maintain the safety andcleanliness of the exterior of the facility, grounds, pool, and exercise/sportfacilities (including property signs and lighting)
• Ensure the security of inventoryand assets such as tools, supplies, equipment, furniture, televisions, etc.using established hotel procedures
• Replenish supplies and inventoryin a timely and efficient manner, and minimize waste
• Follow established safetyprocedures at all times. Immediately report any health and safety incident,unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor or manager onduty
• Respond in a courteous and promptmanner to all guest questions and/or requests to ensure guest satisfaction
• Work as part of a team andcommunicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure
• excellent quality and service
• Assist with other duties asassigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading and math skills
• At least 1 years of experience ingeneral building maintenance and repair assistance
• Familiarity with Microsoft Officeproducts, Building Management software/programs, and other tools such asHotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, and Incom preferred
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) licenseis preferred
