Our Director of Nursing will lead the therapeutic care team with strong clinical and leadership experience, and help to guide our staff in providing our patients with the type of client-centered care we have become known for in the industry. The Director of Nursing is responsible for planning and directing the overall operations and patient care within the facility, and ensures compliance with patient care quality standards. Primary Responsibilities Include:
· Plan and coordinate the clinic's physical infrastructure to ensure optimal efficiency
· Serve as the primary point of contact for operations and leadership
· Effectively manage and supervise registered nurses, behavioral health staff, and independent contractors
· Monitor patient volumes, quality of care, and performance of staff
· Work in tandem with leadership to ensure patients receive complete services according to treatment plan
· Supervision of staff performance and quality of patient care
· Act as a registered nurse or clinical technician to maintain adequate staffing levels
· Investigate and resolve patient and staff complaints and concerns
· Active participation in Quality Management Committee and other administrative and managerial discussions
Requirements
Successful Candidates Must Have:
· Current TX RN license in good standing
· BSN or willingness to obtain/complete
· Current CPR and ACLS certifications
· 5 years’ full-time professional experience in ICU/CCU, step-down/telemetry, or ER setting
· 2 years’ experience in medical detox setting and knowledge of detox regimens in substance abuse
· Proven leadership and management skills in a clinical setting
· Demonstrated knowledge of management and supervisory practices
· Knowledge of principles and practices concerning nursing and patient care activities
· Strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to providing patients with exceptional therapeutic care
· Compassion for all patients facing trying physical & mental health crises
