Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 plus yearly Bonus program
PurposeThe Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for working with our clients Value Stream, Managers, and Leaders to achieve the their Group Mission Statement by collecting data, measuring, setting baselines, analyzing, leading, managing the development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of quality systems and processes throughout their value stream and organization.The right Candidate MUST HAVE experience in the Commercial Glass/Glazing Industry, Window Wall, Curtain Wall and/or Achitectural Aluminium. What you will be doingAnalyze the quality baseline data to define quality priorities, KPIs, and prepare quality heat maps.Utilize A3 problem-solving techniques and initiate corrective action plans (CAPs) and preventative measures.Institute rework standards by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.Establish standards for the disposition of finished products by creating evaluation tests, methods, and procedures.Monitor and report on the plant’s (department/section/associate) quality performance.Develop and implement a variety of proactive initiatives/projects to support achieving the quality mission and drive quality performance for employees, departments, plants, and contractors/vendors.Ensure quality products by establishing and enforcing standards, and testing materials and products.Establish quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and production operators.Implement the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and quality inspection processes in line with project requirements/specifications, alarming quality baseline data, and plant quality heatmap.Develop supplier evaluation and material standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements and devising testing methods and procedures.What you will bring alongRelevant experience and/or master's degree in quality management or related fields.Knowledge in quality management within the window wall, curtain wall, and architectural aluminum industry.Or 10 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Background in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality systems, and preferable knowledge of OHSAS.Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, CAD, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft BI applications.Experience leading a larger team and has experience with indirect reports.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you send a resume to bmcivor@talentsphere.ca or confidentially call me at 469 498 2002 ext 748.
