Our client, an award-winning and busy Architecture and Design firm in Calgary is currently looking for a talented individual to work in the role of HR & Payroll Administrator. This is newly developed position and an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team within an excellent company.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Payroll administration; includes tracking timesheets, entering into PayWorks
- On-boarding of new employees by creating new hire packages, and ensuring all required forms are completed.
- Managing and tracking employee vacation and absences.
- Administration and managing of employee benefits.
- Maintaining all employee records and reports.
- Coordination of volunteer and team building events
- Tracking Continued Development and Educational Allowances
- University degree or diploma in Human Resources/Benefits/Payroll or in related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related experience supporting HR, Benefits and Payroll functions, or in equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Great communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PayWorks
- Passion for architecture and design
