Field Service Technician – 5 positions

Talentry is seeking Field Service Technicians to join ourteam in providing innovative technology solutions. We're the leading integratorof payment and information technology and services for intelligent travelsolutions worldwide. This position provides support for Boston’s publictransportation system infrastructure.

Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician performs testing, repair, andmaintenance activities on equipment at field sites throughout the Boston PublicTransit System. This involves operating and maintaining digital and electronicdevices, troubleshooting, and collaborating under supervision. You will betrained!

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·Assist in setting up, installing, and servicingequipment.

·Support routine campaigns and installations.

·Suggest improvements to circuitry orinstallation specifications.

·Develop wiring diagrams and equipment layouts.

·Interface professionally with customer agencies.

·Analyze equipment malfunctions using manuals,test equipment, and diagrams.

·Maintain records of maintenance activities.

·Collaborate to resolve hardware issues.

·Perform general maintenance on equipment.

·Build cable assemblies and PCBs as needed.

Requirements

Additional Requirements:

·Participate in an on-call rotation to supportBoston transportation systems (with a stipend).

·Be available for weekend and night shifts.

·Willingness to learn new technical skills thatwill enhance employability for life!

Minimum Job Requirements:

·Two-year college degree or equivalent inelectronics or a related field, plus two years of experience.

·Able to work for any US employer withoutsponsorships, visa transfers, or temporary visa status.

·Ability to follow instructions for reworking,repairing, testing, and maintaining equipment.

·Excellent communication and customer serviceskills.

·Willingness to travel.

·Ability to interpret technical material and lift50 lbs.

·Ability to work in public stations, seasonaltemperatures, and demanding environments.

·This position requires drug/alcohol testing perDOT regulations.
