TalentOne Recruitment & Staffing is Hiring a 5 Axis CNC Machine Operator (FT) Near Santa Ana, CA

Talent One Recruitment is seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Orange County. With minimal shop supervision, CNC Machinists will operate 5-axis CNC Mills to manufacture precision tooling and parts.

Job Type: Full-Time (Direct-Hire)
Schedule: 2nd Shift (5:00 PM - 1:30 AM)
Pay Range: $20/hr. - $33/hr. D.O.E

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate a 5-axis CNC Mill with precision and efficiency.
Adhere to engineering plans.
Inspect machined parts to maintain quality standards.
Perform Manual Data Input (MDIs) when necessary.
Collaborate with Engineering, Programming, and Quality Inspection teams as needed.
Participate in safety and organization programs.
Fulfill any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
Maintain clear and effective communication with the opposite shift through logbooks, verbal updates, and shift handovers.
Troubleshoot quality issues.

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience operating full 5-axis CNC mills.
Proficiency in handling Fanuc 15MB and 30i controls (Siemens 840D knowledge is a plus) or Heidenhain controls.
Ability to read blueprints and set up machines independently.
Experience machining Invar, Aluminum, Composite, and Graphite materials.
Proficiency in using manual inspection equipment such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Bore Gages.
Capability to perform Manual Data Input (MDI) for hole patterns and radii.
Thorough understanding of machining various materials, including spindle speed calculations, machining feed rates, and chip load.
Familiarity with GD&T, shop mathematics (including trigonometry), and blueprint reading.
