Talento Search Group has an opening for a Welding Quality Inspector in the Taylors, South Carolina area. This is a direct hire position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verification of dimensional requirements per drawing specifications
• Inspection of materials used for welding builds
• Ensure that all safety/OSHA protocols are adhered to achieve/maintain a ZERO incident facility
• Scheduling of inspections to ensure customer delivery
• Suggest cost / efficiency improvement areas

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience with fabrication, welding, dimensional inspections
• HS-Diploma or Equivalent
• AWS Certification given preference
• Proven knowledge of fractional mathematics, geometry, trigonometry, planes, etc
• Ability to identify various materials, welds, symbols
• Strong professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Possess own measurement tools
