Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review design briefs, specifications, and other data to produce equipment and component designs
- Create Bills of Materials
- Use SolidWorks software to produce designs
- Create fabrication specifications
- Work with fabrication for sample models
- Design tools and fixtures required to produce products
- Use quality check tools and gauges
- Meet with project members to review designs
- Ensure products adhere to standards
- Modify designs
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in mechanical design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks software, drafting, Microsoft Office, and ERP platforms
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate projects
