The Laborer and Carpenter  job in Pittsfield, Maine  is responsible for assisting with the handling of product, moving in and out of the shop. You will also be required to operate machinery and power tools with safety, while also checking accuracy of carpentry work, while also filling out paperwork as needed. You may also be required to perform production, building and loading supports as needed. This is a full time, temp to hire position. 

Laborer and Carpenter Qualifications: 

• High School Graduate or equivalent

• Familiarity with power tools and operating machinery 

• Ability to to communicate effectively written and verbally

• MUST have reliable transportation

• Ability to work with a team and independently

• Eye for detail and commitment to safety

• Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures 

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read a tape measure 

Required Skills: 

• Solid carpentry skills and experience 

• Familiarity with operating machinery and power tools

Laborer and Carpenter Details: 

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6am-430pm with some Fridays

• Pay Rate: $17 /hr DOE

• Start Date: ASAP
