Our client is a faith-based, not-for-profit health system comprising almost 350 services and facilities, including more than 60 hospitals and long-term care facilities, 175 clinics and outpatient centers and dozens of other health ministries and ventures.
The details of the position we have available are listed below.
Class: Surgical Tech Certified
Start: 14:30:00
End: 23:00:00
Notes: *FLU & COVID Proof of vaccination or medical or religious declination reviewed/approved before start*
Certified Surgical Tech/Scrub Tech with at least 2 years recent exp
CONTRACT: 13-Weeks
SHIFT: Five 8HR shifts
On-Call: 1-2 call nights per week and 1-2 24 HR weekend call shifts per schedule
FLOAT: Must float to other areas within surgical services as needed
GUARANTEE: 40-hrs
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE TRAUMA LEVEL 1 AND/OR LEVEL 2 EXPERIENCE
Must have ortho experience
Must have call experience
Knowledge of care and handling of instruments and equipment
Knowledge of sterilization and cleansing procedures
REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
Surgical Tech certification: NBSTSA or NCCT
BLS (AHA only)
