Job Description

This position provides observation of construction activities taking place at the Eversource Energy Client

facilities. The position will observe both internal / external resources, providing company representation.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the safety of personnel by taking direct preventive measures, participating effectively in weekly safety meetings, and ensuring all related standards, rules and laws are followed.

  • Provides input based on lessons learned to the management team for the use in future project.
  • Participates in meetings as requested by the management team.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Client, gas, power or other plant construction, operations, and maintenance principles,
  • practices, safety standards and business processes.
  • Familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods, and processes.
  • Experience with electrical, instrumentation, controls, piping and mechanical systems is desired.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook).
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Proven problem solving, schedule management, project administration and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Local candidates are preferred, travel to local offices and facilities required.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline plus five (5) years
  • supervising construction; OR
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline plus seven (7) years

  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in a supervisory position on a multidisciplinary, technical
