This role will be in FISH (Fluorescence in situ Hybridization) Manufacturing.
This particular role is working in the Fermentation group and will be working with E. Coli and other laboratory reagents.
The individual will begin learning how to inoculate the growth flasks in the evening to begin the fermentation process as well as performing the necessary steps for our in-process testing to confirm clone identity.
Good understanding of micropipettes, serological pipettes, balances, fume hood safety, Biological Safety Cabinets are required. GMP/GLP, GDP, and some flexibility of working hours (depending on training times) is expected.
Entry level skills, either Associates with 1-2 years of experience,
Bachelors Degree in Biology with no lab experience or BS in Chemistry with Biology minor.
Familiar with general lab equipment, i.e. microscope, Autoclave.
