Talent X Alexander is a SAG/AFTRA franchised agency based in Chicago, IL. We represent both union and non-union talent of all ages for TV, Film, VO, Industrials, and Lifestyle Print. While based in Chicago, we have an extensive network of clients and talent across the US.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Bookkeeper at Talent X Alexander. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for financial statements, bookkeeping, paying talent, accounting software management, finance, and journal entries. The role is located in Chicago, IL, but offers flexibility for some remote work. The ideal candidate can come into the River North office 2 - 3 times a month as needed while working remote the rest of the time. Approximately 15 - 20 hrs a month is currently needed but the business continues to grow year after year so we'd love to find someone to grow with us.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial statements, bookkeeping, and journal entries
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Knowledge of finance principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
