Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $30-$38/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Location: Holland, MI

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance on machines and equipment on a regular basis to prevent breakdown while offering and implementing continuous improvement projects to improve reliability.
• Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
• Inspect and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunction. Diagnose and dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repair parts.
• Machine parts for repair of specialty machines.
• Electrical controls, logic, troubleshooting and repair.
• Travel to other facilities as requested by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Attend company meetings and training seminars as designated.
• Follow Quality System-approved work instructions and procedures and help improve these as needed.
• Responsible for successful facilitation of all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Journeyman Electrician.
• Three years or more maintenance experience.
• Proficient in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, machining, fabrication/welding and cutting, blue print reading, plumbing, facilities maintenance, and math skills.
• Effective communication skills, strong decision making skills.
• Trained and capable of reading PLC ladder logic.
