Position: Heavy Duty Master Mechanic

Pay: $25/hour - $45/hour Based on experience/training

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Shift: 1st, OT Available

Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on various vehicle systems, encompassing steering, electrical, cooling, braking, and drive trains, while adhering to regulatory standards. Conduct independent vehicle performance tests, accurately identify issues, and execute necessary repairs with precision. Demonstrate adaptability by performing repairs in diverse environments, including fieldwork, workshops, and customer locations. Efficiently utilize web-based diagnostic tools to expedite the troubleshooting process and ensure timely resolution of issues. Uphold professionalism and comply with customer and safety protocols rigorously throughout all repair tasks. Thoroughly complete service reports and associated documentation with meticulous attention to detail. Effectively communicate with customers, offering clear and concise explanations regarding identified issues and completed repairs to foster satisfaction and trust. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in truck repair. Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements for customer equipment operation. Successful completion of T1 through T8 ASE truck tests. Current brake repair certification and air conditioning certification. Proficiency in performing common repairs on commercial vehicles, including clutch, drive axles, tires, brakes, electrical repairs, and engines. Benefits: Health Insurance. Pension Plan.
