Position: Field Service Mobile Crane Technician

Pay: $35hr.-$55hr.

Shift: 1st – Fulltime

Location: Auburn, WA

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Mobile Crane Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mobile cranes to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and crane operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mobile cranes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in mobile crane systems.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct load tests and certify cranes for safe operation.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts inventory.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and safety standards related to crane operations.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mobile Crane Technician or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to crane operations.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
  • Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., crane operator certification) are a plus.
