Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy is responsible for providing direct patient care in the endoscopy department. The RN will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Supervisor and will be responsible for the following:
- Administering medications and treatments
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Monitoring patients during procedures
- Documenting patient care
- Communicating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and two years of experience working in a hospital setting. Experience in the endoscopy department is preferred. The RN must be proficient in the use of medical equipment and be able to work independently. The RN must also be able to work well under pressure and be able to maintain a professional demeanor.
