Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Oncology Position

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of oncology professionals. The ideal candidate will have two years of oncology experience, experience in acute care, experience with specific patient populations and diseases, and experience using the ECOG and Performance Status scale. OCN certification is preferred.

The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. The RN will also work closely with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support
• Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Advocate for patients and their families
• Document patient care in the medical record
• Participate in continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in oncology care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Two years of oncology experience
• Experience in acute care
• Experience with specific patient populations and diseases
• Experience using the ECOG and Performance Status scale
• OCN certification is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
