Role: Windows Package Management Engineer Location: NYC, NY (On site 5 days a week : hours are roughly 7 4 (Must be local)

Duration: 3 months contract to hire

Responsibilities:

• Client want to find someone who wants a career out of this, not a job hopper.
• Very proficient in in windows package management, updates/support.
• You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient package management systems on Windows platforms.
• Your primary duties will include developing automation scripts, configuring and deploying software packages, and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows operating systems, expertise in package management tools such as Chocolatey and Windows Package Manager (winget), and proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell.
• Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline deployment processes and optimize software distribution workflows.
• Understanding of basic networking.
• Some knowledge of financial apps (BBG) and the criticality.
• Team player but also a self learner and self manager.
