Job Title - Certified Surgical Technologist

Location - Rochester, MN 55902

Shift - 8hour shift, M-F, variation 7a, 9a, 11a shifts, OVERTIME as needed, no weekends, no call.

Job Summary - Attends the surgeon and surgical team peri-operatively to provide for optimum peri-operative experience. Knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, patient safety and sterile technique.

• COMPETENCY: Otorhinolaryngology General/Gynecology Neurology Orthopedics Cardiovascular
• JOB KNOWLEDGE: Principles of aseptic technique; orientation of surgical procedures; preparation, operation and care of equipment and machines; understands patient and staff safety recommendations.
• ADDL CONSIDERATIONS: Capable of rapid accurate reactions; concern for quality patient care; communicates and works effectively with various levels of personnel; stands and walks major portion of work schedule; moderate to heavy lifting required; exposure to cuts, burns, infection, biohazardous chemicals and x-ray

Required - BLS(AHA)

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
