Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer with expertise in DO178C standards for a contract position in Everett, WA. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of software development processes, particularly in relation to DO178C standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize strong DO-178C knowledge to guide and execute SOI level 1 & 2 audits.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes, including audits, reviews, and inspections.
• Manage software configurations and version control in accordance with industry standards.
• Develop and execute software verification and validation plans.
• Assess the impact of changes and maintain configuration control through change management processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
• Document quality-related activities and maintain project documentation as per DO-178C guidelines.
• Support auditing and compliance activities to ensure adherence to DO-178C requirements.
• Utilize problem reporting and tracking tools to document and track software defects and non-conformances.
