Title: Appian Technical Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Appian Technical Lead to join our team. As an Appian Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and architecture of Appian solutions within a service-oriented architecture framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the complete Appian implementation cycle and possess strong technical skills in Appian development and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation and architecture of Appian solutions within a service-oriented architecture framework.
• Oversee the complete Appian implementation cycle, including business process modeling, tool installation, development, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to Appian development teams.
• Implement Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services.
• Provide technical assistance for the integration of Appian systems with external systems such as SAP.
• Utilize computer coding languages such as J2EE, SQL, HTML, and XML for Appian development.
• Develop reusable constants, query rules, and related objects for fast deployment.
• Create custom and focused user experiences within Appian applications.
• Build scalable and maintainable applications using low code integrations with external systems.
• Execute processes for analysis, design, and development of scalable solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Assist in the effective implementation of Appian solutions with subject matter expertise.
• Prepare detailed and accurate technical documentation relating to Appian designs and reports.
• Contribute to Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) by establishing new standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Appian development standards.
• Prioritize work tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Over 10-12 years of overall IT experience.
• Appian L2 certification is required.
• Extensive experience in implementing and architecting Appian solutions within a service-oriented architecture framework.
• Proficiency in Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services within Appian.
• Strong technical skills in J2EE, SQL, HTML, and XML.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment models, test-driven development, behavioral-driven development, and BFSI domain knowledge is preferred.
• Prior experience with automation of Appian support or BAU activities, plugin developments, and Appian server installations is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with SOAP and Restful web services and integration is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
