At Chevy Chase Dentistry, our office culture revolves around providing comfortable and compassionate care, with a relentless focus on championing level customer service.

This position will be Part-Time offering great benefits

• Flexible Schedule - Monday - Thursday (1-2 days a week)
• Competitive starting wage ($30-$4/hr) based on experience 
• Potential to convert to a full-time position w/Medical/Vision/Dental and 401K 

A Day In the Life Of

As our newest team member and hygienist you will interact with patients and collaborate with a great team!

• Prophylaxis
• Periodontal therapy
• Diode laser (if certified)
• Administer anesthetic (if certified)
• Exposes and develops digital x-rays
• Records and reviews patient medical histories.
• Applies fluorides or other cavity-preventing agents to arrest dental decay.
• Charts conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by dentist
• Provides patient hygiene instruction and dental education to improve and maintain the oral health of patients
• Cleans calcareous deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth and beneath margins of gums using dental instruments.

What You'll Bring To The Table

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of general principles of dentistry and advanced knowledge of dental hygiene.
• Strong customer service skills working with patients 

Education and Experience:

• Associate degree or the successful completion of a recognized vocational program in dental hygiene.
• Proven work history at least 1 year preferred 
• State license required.

Certifications

• X-Ray
• Coronal Polishing
