 Dental assistants also get to operate as patient advocates by answering questions on dental hygiene or insurance, setting up appointments, or simply leading them to the exam room. A Day In the Life Of

As the Dental Assistant you are responsible for providing hands-on support to Dentists and completing prep work so they can run efficiently and focus on care for patients. Your role will be pivotal, involving:

• Assisting during dental procedures
• Preparing and sterilizing treatment rooms and instruments
• Welcoming patients and preparing them for appointments
• Taking and developing x-rays
• Educating families on oral hygiene
• Maintaining accurate dental records
• Providing exceptional chair-side assistance
• Monitoring patient vital signs
