Position Summary

We're seeking a technically proficient, design-sensitive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to join our highly motivated and innovative health facility planning team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Site and Facility Master Planning: Leverage your 10-15 years of experience to lead site and facility master planning initiatives, driving forward innovative solutions that optimize healthcare environments.
  • Service Delivery Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop service delivery plans that enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency.
  • Functional and Space Programming: Play a key role in the programming of renovations and new construction projects for various healthcare facilities, ensuring that space is optimized to meet the needs of patients and staff.
  • Lean Process Improvement: Apply Lean principles to drive process improvement initiatives, streamlining workflows and enhancing overall project efficiency.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in the planning and design process.
  • Program Requirements Definition: Work closely with stakeholders to define program requirements, ensuring that project goals and objectives are clearly understood and aligned.
  • Architectural Design: Establish architectural design parameters based on project requirements and generate innovative design concepts that meet the unique needs of healthcare environments.
  • Strategy Development and Presentation: Develop and deliver compelling strategies and presentations that effectively communicate project vision and objectives to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10-15 years of experience in healthcare planning and design
  • Strong proficiency in architectural design software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of establishing and maintaining client relationships
  • Experience with Lean process improvement methodologies is a plus
