This Company is a manufacturer of custom thermoset resin castings utilizing epoxy, urethane and silicone materials designed for highly dependable performance in hundreds of demanding applications and environments.
It creates components for a wide range of industries including Semiconductor, RF Microwave and Medical. The Company is looking to hire / train a Production Assistant Supervisor.
In this role, you will be a hands-on leader of a production cell, learning the process, assisting the supervisor, overseeing the activities, and scheduling of 10-20 multilingual operators.
Assistant Supervisor Primary responsibilities : Support the supervisor as needed to schedule and supervise team in day-to-day tasks performed in the cell.
Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products to ensure production and quality of products meets specification.
Cross train to become proficient in all production activities performed in the cell. Ensure the overall safety, quality and productivity goals are met.
Manage multiple priorities across tight timelines by maneuvering the workforce to meet demands. Assistant Supervisor Qualification : 2 years of experience of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Must be self-directed, have strong attention to detail, great communication skills and possess the capability to analyze information to improve processes and business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments and direct the workforce in an ever-changing environment.
Team building - this includes training and coaching team members along with driving camaraderie within the workplace. Resolve staffing issues related to performance, absence coverage, and / or safety.
