Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties:

- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming materials
- Verify orders, label packages, and prepare items for shipping
- Utilize order picking equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory levels
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to coordinate shipments
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting preferred
- Proficiency with MRP systems for inventory management
- Ability to operate order picking equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
- Ability to lift heavy packages and work in a physically demanding role
