Taldeco is looking for Master Production Scheduler's!
$70,000-$85,000 yearly salary
7:30am-4:30pm, M-F Schedule
Job Description:
- Maintain two weeks rolling schedule and react to any volatility from the end customer.
- Ensure that all relevant staff members receive the production schedule. Create and maintain a capacity requirement plan, that supports the master schedule.
- Monitor production progress daily and analyze data to identify causes of variances.
- Review and maintain Whiteboard Scheduler or scheduling tools used to drive procurement management. Plan, prepare, maintain, and report on the performance of the master schedule to ensure that it's being adhere to daily. Verify and maintain master schedule data and planning parameters in MRP system.
- Ensure production shortages are monitored prior to scheduling the line, by running component availability report for current/next day production schedule.
- Create daily production schedules. Support the demand planning team by validating that the MRP are showing the correct allocations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years functional experience in materials and inventory management
- Solid experience in evaluating and analyzing risks associated with material planning and inventory management; hands-on experience in managing customer demand variations.
- Working knowledge of freight planning, lane optimization.
- Solid knowledge of ERP system/BI reporting. Familiarity with computer applications and communications software. Able to train people on IT systems.
