Description

• Open the vehicle door for passengers to enter and exit
• Ensure passengers feel safe and secure
• Ensure timely conveyance of passengers to their destination
• Ensure that vehicles are kept neat and tidy at all times
• Carry out routine checks on vehicles
• Identify electrical and mechanical faults and report concerns to the supervisor
• Read map and check weather and traffic reports to determine the best time to travel, and the best route to take
• Discussing current events
• Assisting in the psycho social activity
• Assisting in planning the monthly calendar and outings
• Assisting with outings
• Planning route

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate action
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact in a calm and compassionate manner
• Ability to collaborate/interact with wide variety of people
• Knowledge of code of ethics, conflict of interest and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Valid Drivers license and auto insurance
• Good Driving Record and Valid Driver's License
• Must be at least 25 years of age per insurance qualifications
• Must be able to meet underwriting criteria and approved as an Agency Driver
• Comfortable navigating through Cincinnati

Essential Functions/Physical Demands:

• Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Occasional standing and walking. Constant sitting.
• Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching, handling and fingering.
• Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
