OVERVIEW:
The supervisor will manage a team, ensure process controls meet corporate standards, prevent defects, and drive continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage quality control activities and supervise hourly employees.
- Conduct daily audits and enforce accountability, including disciplinary actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Identify process improvements and document findings for management.
- Lead cross-functional teams, communicate results, and drive quality initiatives.
- Perform process audits, review process conformity, and implement corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis and collaborate with engineering and production teams.
- Develop and sustain vehicle control plans, recommend error-proofing strategies.
- Provide training and coaching, analyze quality data, and implement new initiatives.
- Flexibility to work any shift and overtime.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor.
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Office.
- Ability to analyze data and work in varying environments.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Manufacturing or assembly plant experience.
- Lead Auditor certifications.
- Supervisory experience with hourly personnel.
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
