Takasago International Corporation U S A is Hiring a Maintenance Technician III Near Teterboro, NJ

Essential Job Functions:

Perform all work tasks in a safe and timely manner and according to company policies and procedures.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance in an industrial environment, repair production/facility equipment, non-contractor installation of utilities and equipment.
Maintain and respond to facility Fire and Burglar systems, boiler system monitoring.
Maintenance, general up-keep of the facility and assist as a liaison with outside services.
Will be a member of the site’s emergency response team.
Periodic overtime is required as well as occasionally working on other shifts to provide coverage.
Operate and monitor High pressure boiler, Take readings of equipment in boiler room.
Work with CMMS (Upkeep) entering and closing WO’s and entering equipment and PM to CMMS system.
Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment (i.e. pumps, mixers, Motors etc.),
Electrical troubleshooting of Electrical circuits.
Pipe fitting and threading of black pipe and stainless steel
Plumbing: new installations of copper pipe and repairs, soldering and Propress.
Knowledge or experience of HVAC and welding a plus.
Basic computer skills.

Level of Independence:

Up to 75% independent work.
Will work independently or as part of a team depending on the task or project.
Conduct repairs, maintenance and other work as scheduled by the Maintenance supervisor and/or Senior Maintenance person.

Qualifications:

Trade School Education is a plus.
6 years of maintenance experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment (i.e. pumps, mixers, Motors etc.),
- Electrical troubleshooting of Electrical circuits.
- Electrical Installation, new and reconfiguration, pipe bending.
- Pipe fitting and threading of black pipe and Stanley steel
- Plumbing: new installations of copper pipe and repairs, soldering and Propress.
- Knowledge or experience of HVAC and welding a plus.
6 years of experience executing work tasks in a P.M. Program.
Black Seal license for the operation of low- and high-pressure boilers is preferred.
Must have a good mechanical aptitude
Must be able to read, write and speak English on a level needed to interact with other employees, as needed in the performance of work duties.
