The Role

• Ensures proper planning, allocation of labor and resources, and dispatching of crews daily to multiple locations throughout the region
• Generates daily schedules per department for all work assigned to that scheduled day
• Re-organizes and/or re-allocates resources each morning based on any unforeseen changes
• Builds an optimized schedule based on the requests from multiple Engineers to ensure crews have an appropriate amount of work each day
• Ensures jobs have sufficient resources required to complete in the expected amount of time
• Coordinates scheduled job dates with Engineers
• Works with Engineers to re-schedule jobs as needed based on resource availability
• Communicates effectively with the teams in the field to ensure schedule is received in a timely manner and followed by those assigned to specific work

• 3 years of experience in a scheduling environment/position, utility/telecommunications/construction industry preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
• Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in-person or virtually
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
• Strong analytical skills, ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn new software efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to occasionally travel to/from job sites
• Ability to be flexible and adjust to changes
• Ability to champion a positive environment with a can-do attitude
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
