Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Baker to join our rapidly growing company. Come join Tailwind Hospitality as a Full-time Baker in the Dunkin’ located inside the Tallahassee International Airport. Tailwind is a national airport concessionaire that provides food, beverage, and retail at 42 locations across the country. As a Dunkin’ Baker, you would be helping us achieve our goal of providing friendly service and top-quality offerings to enhance the traveler experience in our airport. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations.
  • Prepare all products following appropriate recipes and procedures, including but not limited to bagels, croissants, muffins.
  • Understand the fundamentals of baking.
  • Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes meet the set standards.
  • Following prep lists created by the management team.
  • Ensuring all food items are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitized kitchen.
  • Comply with all restaurants, brand, and franchisee policies.

Baker Qualifications/Skills:

  • Must be able to pass a federal background check to receive an airport badge.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, must have reliable transportation.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • 1 years previous baking experience preferred but not necessary (We’ll train you!)
  • ServSafe (preferred)

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive motion, including bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift items, including boxes, baskets, and pails up to 50 lbs.
