About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to join our eCommerce team. This individual will work collaboratively across several talented teams to create engaging digital experiences that drive value for our customers. You will develop responsive design systems, personalized experiences, and consumer journeys for each of our various brands, delivering best in class eCommerce and innovative platform design which elevates our brand presence digitally.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities 

  • Evangelize and champion our brand digital experiences.
  • Stay current with industry leading trends, styles, best practices for designing responsive ecommerce websites. 
  • Take a concept from problem identification and scoping through higher stages of fidelity, creating interactive mockups, testing with consumers, incorporating feedback and see the designs through to launch.
  • Develop low fidelity wireframes, as well as pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes using various design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe CS.
  • Find elegant solutions to solve customer challenges within retail-focused eCommerce.
  • Ensure a consistent visual language is applied and maintained for each brand.
  • Articulate and share decisions to team leadership and product stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners.
  • Clearly document and communicate design specs to our development partners.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information systems and 5 years of experience
  • Experience designing retail focused solutions while understanding how their designs are to be implemented. 
  • Experience designing customer facing, responsive retail eCommerce websites.
  • Experience working in cross functional teams, collaborating with both product stakeholders and developers. 
  • Expert in Visual Design, Prototyping and Interaction Design.
  • Expert in Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD & CS, as well as other design and prototyping tools.
  • Bonus: Experience writing HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No coding experience is necessary in this role.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote location.

The starting salary for this position is $80,700 – 107,600 and may increase to $134,500 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
