About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist II, Inventory Control to join our Inventory Control team. This individual is responsible for the thorough analysis of inventory shipment transactions and maintaining inventory records. The Specialist II, Inventory Control assist with providing accurate and timely merchandise tracking information and help to ensure inventory levels are accurately reflected in the system of record. 

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the profitability of the retail operations by assisting with the management of store inventory in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with retail locations, store operations, distribution center staff, and financial management.
  • Process and research issues from incoming calls and emails in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
  • Review store receiving documents and partner with stores to resolve errors.
  • Oversee and assist with annual physical inventory including, reconciliation, validation, adjustments, and reporting of results.
  • Maintain constant compliance with inventory control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • 2 years of experience in customer service focused environment, preferably in an Inventory or Accounting role
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn Inventory Management and various associated systems (Manhattan, Universe, etc.)
  • Ability to work well under pressure while also providing superior customer service, maintaining accuracy, and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, problem solving, and mathematical abilities with a strong aptitude for working with numbers.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment, and discretion.
  • Self-starter with strong team and partnership skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to become an inventory management expert.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location

The starting rate for this position is $14.95 – $24.23 hourly and may increase to $29.81 hourly depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
