Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator

Job Summary:
Operate sewing machines to perform garment sewing operations, such as joining, reinforcing or decorating garment as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
·Operates the sewing machine in accordance with our procedures
·Control the machine and utilize techniques for safety handling materials
·Replace burred or broken needles and thread the sewing machine as necessary
·Examines final product to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
·Maintains safety awareness in, and around work areas and report potential areas of concern
·Maintain high quality standards, as required
·Performs other duties as required or as instructed.
Physical Requirements:
·Must be able to stand and/or sit all day and move hands constantly
·Must be able to have good visual skills.
·Light lifting, pushing/pulling are required
·Work near moving parts and high temperatures.
·Occasional overtime are required.
