Tahoe Donner Association is looking for Bike Instructors Level 1 to join our summer Bike Works operations! Level 1 Bike Instructors are responsible for teaching basic mountain biking skills to participants of all ages on Tahoe Donner properties and trails. They will also lead a variety of groups on guided rides of Tahoe Donner trails. They may also be responsible for properly sizing and renting adult and children’s bicycles, as well as assisting with bicycle maintenance and repair, equipment and accessory sales, special events, races and other activities.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Current International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) Level 1 or equivalent required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and First Aid certifications recommended.
• A valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier is recommended.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through 1-year related experience and training in mountain bike instruction business and/or equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
