Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Plattsburgh, New York.

Local Rates: $95: 51-100 Mile, $90: 50 miles or less.
L&D RN, 12H nights, 36H wk.; Weekend Requirements: As needed (every other or every third) asap start; NYS License required. Level 1 Perinatal Center; 2yrs exp req; Must ahve BLS and NRP to submit; STABLE, ACLS preferred. Must be able to work nursery in addition to labor & delivery, as well as postpartum ; Exp in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological non-obstetrical patients req; Pediatric patients include neonates up to 28 days old and Outpatient Lactation Services; Exp w/: IV pumps, EFM;Oxytocin for Induction/Augmentation of Labor, VBAC, Hemorrhage, Administration of Magnesium Sulfate, Starting IVs, lab draws; RN's required to maintain CPR, ACLS, NRP, EMTALA competencies, Fetal Monitoring Certification and competencies that are appropriate for their scope of practice
License or proof it is in process must be included with the submission packet. EPIC experience from within the past 12 months is required and nonnegotiable. Monday to Sunday; Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday. IVS to OFFER; This facility requires ALL work history information (Bed count, EMR, Fac type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit. Please ensure all employment gaps over 30 days are explained. Covid and Flu declinations accepted- please have either proof or declinations in packet.
No block schedules for any reason. Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
