Sr Technical Product Manager I, Back of House Integrations at Taco Bell 

Do you love connecting data and systems to solve business challenges? Do you have the skills and experience to design and implement seamless integrations between restaurant and home office platforms and systems? If yes, Taco Bell invites you to join our team as a Sr. Technical Product Manager! 

About the Job:

In this role, you will shape the future of the Connected Restaurant, ensuring seamless integrations between platforms and optimizing data delivery to downstream consumers. You will work with operations, HR, franchisees, and platform teams to design innovative solutions to restaurant and home office challenges. Along the way, you will ensure data integrity, platform stability, reliability, timeliness, and flexibility are top of mind. You will also be the subject matter expert for restaurant and home office integrations, partnering with architecture/engineering leads of other platforms to proactively address opportunities to optimize end-to-end architecture.

As a Sr. Technical Product Manager of Integrations, you will: 

  • Work with product and engineering leads to design and implement seamless integrations between Back of House (BOH) and Above Store (AS) platforms and systems, ensuring data integrity and platform stability. 
  • Work with product and engineering leads to design and optimize data delivery to downstream consumers, ensuring reliability, timeliness, and flexibility.
  • Define and document technical requirements for HR Middleware (HRMW) and Back of House Data Router in partnership with operations, product, franchise stakeholders, and platform teams. 
  • Perform data mapping between relevant systems (ATS, HRMW, Yum Provisioning, BOH, payroll) to ensure continuity, stability, and performance. 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for BOH/AS integrations, partnering with reliability engineering and architecture/engineering leads on other platforms to address production issues and implement monitoring. 
  • Leverage detailed knowledge to highlight opportunities and risks to the product team and proactively identify opportunities to enhance stability within the connected kitchen architecture. 

What You Need

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, engineering, or related field or equivalent years of experience 
  • 5 years of experience as a technical product manager or solutions architect working within an Agile environment 
  • 2 years of experience working on HRIS, labor management, or restaurant management products 
  • 2 years of experience working within an AWS serverless environment 
  • Experience with data analysis a plus 
  • Experience working in JIRA and Confluence 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a discerning eye for details that matter 
  • A passion for solving problems

Salary Range: ­­$­­111,500 to $153,000 annually bonus eligibility equity (if applicable) benefits
