About Taco Bell Foundation:

At the Taco Bell Foundation, we believe in supporting the passions and dreams of our young people. We invest in America’s youth, ages 16-26, and help them pursue their educational goals and career aspirations – no matter what their unique passion. We leverage our scale and reach to convene the right partners and build impactful programs and experiences so these young people can confidently pursue their dream-career. About the Job:

The Program Manager oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of ongoing educational programming including concepting, planning, staffing, leading, and directing program activities. The Program Manager also stewards strategic national partnerships with organizations in the post-secondary education space. The Taco Bell Foundation focuses on scholarship and mentorship opportunities for young people ages 16-24 pursuing post-secondary education including four-year, two-year, trade, technical and vocational schools.

The Day-to-Day:

Development

  • Concepting & creating program(s) based on current Foundation needs and charitable efforts in the education, scholarship and mentorship space
  • Oversee overall program delivery, along with associated activities, in accordance with the mission and the goals of the Foundation
  • Develop initiatives and foster strategic partnerships to support the strategic direction of the Foundation
  • Create and implement strategies and long-term goals to achieve the successful outcome of the program(s)
  • In partnership with Executive Director, develop strategy for Programs & Partnerships to increase the impact of the Live Más Scholarship and position the Taco Bell Foundation as a thought leader in post-secondary education
  • Develop and manage an annual budget and operating plan to support the program(s)
  • Establish a program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program(s) and to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services
  • Oversee the collection and maintenance of records on the clients of the program for statistical purposes according to the confidentiality/privacy policy of the Foundation, in partnership with/under the guidance of Taco Bell Legal team
  • Draw upon personal/professional network of individuals and organizations; and knowledge of trends, industries, etc. to add value to programs and facilitate partnerships
  • Exemplify the culture of Taco Bell, representing and portraying the Live Más spirit

Staff

  • Manage direct reports on the team (Associate Analyst & Specialist)
  • In consultation with the Executive Director, recruit, interview and select well-qualified program staff, consultants and/or agencies as needed
  • Ability to engage and advise young people ages 16 – 24
  • Engage volunteers for appropriate program activities using established volunteer management practices

  • Exceptional analytical skills and capacity for critical thinking, organization skills, project planning, working to meet specific timelines and deliverables and regularly communicate progress against goals
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, strong attention to detail and ability to effectively multi task
  • Strong project management, presentation, and interpersonal/influencing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to flex style based on situation

Is This You?

  • BA or BS degree with advanced degree preferred (MBA, Masters in Education, Non-Profit Management, etc.)
  • At least 5 years of experience developing educational-based programming for non-profit(s), schools, or other educational institutions
  • Experience managing direct reports/team

Salary Range: ­­$93,800 - $121,700 annually bonus eligibility benefits
